hometown shout-out

enjoyed seeing Steely Dan at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a beautiful venue built at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. There is a great museum there commemorating Woodstock and the Sixties Era.

During his spoken intro to “Hey Nineteen,” guitarist Walter Becker said “It’s great to be here performing at this historic location… Of course, tonight is way better than the original, what with the rain & the brown acid… But, hey, I wouldn’t really know, I was stuck in Hicksville, Long island 🙂

I design books, magazines, and other communications, that POP! I blog about stuff that catches my eye.
