Publisher Time Inc. has created a new eight-person unit dedicated to creating native advertising. Native ads, also known as sponsored or branded content, are ads that are designed to look like editorial content.

Meanwhile, this study, at least, suggests readers don’t find a site with native ads less credible than one without.
